By accessing our website at sommastitches.com or submitting a booking request, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users who access or use SOMMA STITCHES services in any capacity.
Our Services
SOMMA STITCHES offers bespoke tailoring, fashion design, and garment alteration services. Our offerings include:
- Custom suit design and construction
- Wedding and bridal collection
- Traditional and cultural wear
- Corporate uniforms and workwear
- Garment alterations and repairs
- General fashion consultation
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion without obligation to provide a reason.
Appointments & Bookings
Booking requests submitted through our website are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email or direct communication from SOMMA STITCHES.
- Appointment slots are subject to availability at the time of confirmation
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking details
- Please arrive on time for your appointment — late arrivals may result in a shortened or rescheduled session
- Walk-in appointments are not guaranteed; prior booking is strongly recommended
A booking request is not a confirmed appointment until you receive direct confirmation from our team.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. To respect our team's time and other clients, we ask that you:
- Notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule without penalty
- Contact us via WhatsApp (+234-903-061-5876) or email for same-day changes
- Understand that repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings
SOMMA STITCHES reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as early as possible and offer an alternative time.
Payments & Deposits
Payment terms are discussed and agreed upon directly between you and SOMMA STITCHES before work commences. In general:
- A deposit may be required before custom work begins
- The balance is due upon collection or completion of the garment
- Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been sourced or cutting has begun
- We accept bank transfer and cash payments unless otherwise agreed
Failure to collect a completed garment within 30 days of notification may result in storage fees or forfeiture of the item.
Garments & Alterations
For custom garments, you are responsible for providing accurate measurements during your consultation. SOMMA STITCHES will not be liable for poor fit resulting from inaccurate measurements provided by the client.
- One complimentary fitting adjustment is included for all custom garments
- Additional alterations beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges
- We are not responsible for damage to client-supplied fabrics during alteration
- Timelines provided are estimates and may vary based on workload and complexity
All designs created by SOMMA STITCHES remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
Limitation of Liability
SOMMA STITCHES provides its services in good faith and with professional care. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
- Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including supplier delays or force majeure events
Intellectual Property
All content on the SOMMA STITCHES website — including images, designs, text, logos, and branding — is the property of SOMMA STITCHES and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission. Design concepts created during our consultations remain our property until full payment is received.
Client Conduct
We are committed to a respectful, professional working environment. We ask that all clients:
- Treat our team with courtesy and respect during all interactions
- Provide honest and accurate information when booking or consulting
- Refrain from recording staff or premises without permission
- Understand that abusive behaviour may result in refusal of service
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
